The room was mind-blowingly spacious and had beautiful wide windows with stunning views. The small balcony was a super bonus! The 2-level bed for the kids was jaw-dropping and made them so happy! The free parking was convenient, and the location right on the river was perfect. The staff at the lobby were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was top-notch quality and the cold beer in the minibar was a pleasant surprise. The baby cot provided was of great quality, and the housekeeping was excellent. our short stay was super enjoyable!

The rooms at AMEDIA Hotel Dresden Elbpromenade are seriously modern and cozy, with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The beds are super comfy and the bathrooms are clean and well-equipped. Plus, the free WiFi is a nice cherry on top! As a budget-conscious traveler, I felt right at home in these rooms.

I've gotta be honest, I found the bathtub a bit unnecessary. But hey, that's just my personal preference, and I know some people may appreciate a soak after a long day of exploring.

Far from city center, difficult to approach it with public transportation especially at night

During my recent stay at the hotel, I was pleasantly surprised by the spaciousness of the room. The beds were comfortable and provided a good night's sleep. The location, although not central, was easily accessible with a nearby train station and tram route. I appreciated the early check-in, as it allowed us to start exploring Dresden without any delays. The hotel also provided complimentary bottles of water, which was a nice touch. I found the hotel to be good value for the money paid and would consider returning in the future.

I simply adored the Mediterranean ambience of this hotel! The decor was reminiscent of the famous painter Canaletto, with its warm colors and beautiful artwork. The general areas of the hotel were spacious and easy to navigate, perfect for senior people like myself. I felt comfortable and at ease throughout my stay.

The only improvement I would suggest for a better vacation for senior people is that the children working there could be a bit more attentive. Just a small detail, but it would make a difference in ensuring a truly relaxing and enjoyable experience.

It was a lot further from the city center as anticipated. Trams only come once every 15 - 20 minutes and the surroundings are not so pleasant. Maybe in the summer it is nice to be at the water, but in the winter it was a bit desolate. Personel was not very helpful when we asked for a taxi. A little more customer friendliness would be appreciated.
